Grace is growing up too soon!!

I have never quite enjoy walking under the hot sun to pick Grace from school at 12 noon!

  

But today, as we were walking home from school, i am so pleasantly shocked that my baby girl is now able to express herself very well. *Hmm* Was i not attentive enough previously or did she all a sudden have this ability to do so?  

  

This was how the conversation went :

G: Mummy, my legs so tired..

Me: But u have to walk home because mummy is tired too..

G: My shirt wet wet (perspiring). The sun so hot..

Me: Me too. I am perspiring too. We will bring a hat next time ok?

G: Aunty (my old domestic helper) bring umbrella.

Me: Oh.. Ok. We will bring umbrella next time.

Then we passed by the basketball court.

G: Where people? No play basketball? (and she did the bouncing ball action)

Me: U see the sun so hot, everyone goes home and rest already.

G: They play tonight?

Me: Evenings. Around the time we fetch Nick.

G: I also want to bounce ball.

Me: Ok. We will tell daddy to buy a basketball for meimei ok?

G: (nods her head)

   

Maybe this could be normal, but i am not expecting such a conversation with my little baby girl.. At 24mths? I really wish she doesn't grow up too fast.. :)
