Nick can REALLY READ!!!

Couple of months back, I brought Nick for trial classes at "I can read".. I hesitated if I wanted to enrol him for classes afterall, I didn't want him to be too stressed out since we enrolled him for "Berries" at almost the same time. Another reason was, we have 3 kids so we have to make sure we spend almost fairly on all 3 kids.

I thought and convinced myself tha little boy has to at least know how to join the words and I was worried since at that point in time he didn't have an English and Math teacher for 2 months, and his chinese teacher was on a month's leave! So, I just thought I sign him up till all's stable in school and we will see what's next.

Few months after attending classes, I have to say I am impressed!! He could read, and not only small word, but long words too!! He now enjoys reading the story books on his own and can even summarize the story to me. Of cos, there are some words where he could read but cannot understand the meaning, so he will come and ask.. Yesterday, I bought 2 books from the bookshop and he read it to me!! Wow!

Well, now that he can already read, I wonder if I should still continue his classes, especially he seems to enjoy it very much.. :)
