Grace could be telling us something recently..
In her most recent colouring, she coloured school BLACK!
Not that black is her favourite colour, infact, pink is! Her pigs are pink, her home is pink (b'cos piggy's BARN in wordworld is pink), and the parks in her pictures are pink.. So to us, that symbolizes "happy things"
We are still wondering why is school BLACK, and this morning, on the way to Shichida Kindergarten, we asked her is it that she didn't enjoy school? Her reply was "meimei like toa payoh school, meimei don't like the other school!" I suspect the other school refers to the childcare she goes to after kindergarten. She recently cry buckets when we drop her off there, refusing to go to school, clinging on to my legs, screaming at the top of her voice when i walk away. The childcare teacher have also been telling me she's been falling asleep in class when she's sitting on the chair or floor way before nap time and she sleeps longer than others during nap time..
I wonder why is this happening.. I checked with Shichida this morning, and her teacher there actually told me otherwise.. She's usually happy, hopping around, chatting with the teachers and classmates etc! She also participarts a lot in class when teacher teaches!
So.. Perhaps we need to apply for leave and spot-check what usually happens in childcare centre!
