Citibank called me 5 minutes back.. Informing me i have an outstanding loan of $2300+ (i.e outstanding of 3 months equivalent) and i am the guarantor.. Which is weird.. Cos our current vehicle is under hb's name.. And, our car loan is paid thru giro..
i blurred for a minute.. Then went on to check with the staff on all the particulars.. It tally.. The car plate number and the owner is not someone i know.. And it's just so not me to be someone's guarantor..
I told Citi to check and come back to me on it.. Getting very upset over it now.. :(
Hope they revert soon...

How can an international Bank make this kind of mistake. I do work in the bank before, it is really big mistake that you should make a customer complaint. Do you missing yr IC before ?
Nat, they called to say the computer made a mistake.. Am not too sure how it did link up 1 person to another stranger and the fact that i never had a loan with CIti.. So how did they get all my particulars is still a huge question mark.
But was glad that it's only a mistake and not a case of a fraud..
